Britain's slime-packed "government" nauseate again....

david milliband is a slimey toad of a socialist. the socialist govt. here is touting him as the next prime minister. heaven forbid. he even looks like a used car salesman, but that would be an insult to used car salesmen. this is our open and above board corruption free labour party in action. they've also recently rehabilitated another slimey toad, a spin doctor of the last prime minister, tony baloney bliar, (spin doctor peter mandelson) who was forced to resign due to corruption, rehabilitated and given a new job a year or so later, then forced to resign again after yet more corruption, they sent him on a high salary job in the EEC and brought him back and made him a lord for his 'services'. he's now embroiled in yet another corruption scandal for trying to set up & spin an untrue story about the conservative party's fundraiser trying to solicit a donation, while our new lord himself was enjoying the (free) comforts of staying with the said billionare himself in canne, france. the govt. has full confidence in lord mandelson tho, just like the last few times.

he must know where some real dirt is buried.

anyhow, if they bothered to ask the british people, i'd bet they'd support the dali lama and independence for tibet, so rudely seized by aggression, and now suffering under the cultural destruction of the chinese.

so they won't ask.

On a serious note, this is horrible of the British Government. I've often wondered why no one's stepped in on Tibet's behalf yet.

That is really and truly unconscionable that any government in the free world would take that position.

FREE TIBET!!!!!

The US was gonna step in and help Tibet but then we found out they didn't have any oil. So it's really their fault. They should bring more to the table than friendly, peaceful people and breathtaking natural beauty.

while it is liberal policy to blame the ills of the past that they helped create on the previous administration as a diversion (the labour party here still does and they have been in power her for ten years), this is somewhat off topic. in a couple of months we'll have a new target in DC.

we now return you to your originally scheduled topic which was our (again) labour governments stirling support of the democratic peoples republic and the fine work they are doing is multi-culturalising tibet, bringing it into the 21st century and getting rid of all those reactionary conservative natives for their own good. (oh, excuse me, that should be indigenous ethnic religious minorities, not natives)

But the untapped potential of china as a favored trade partner is what keeps us from pushing the 'free tibet' buttons.

I would have expected more from our cousins across the pond.
