I purchased a British "battle axe" at the recent Badger knife club show. It is the first one I've ever see and looks frightening effective. The owner said some even made it to VN. This particular one was made in 1955 and has the "Broad Arrow" stamp typical of British fighting blades.
Perhaps those who attended saw it up front.
It's a keeper and is as massively made as is their MOD4 fighting knife.
