Does anyone know if Spyderco ever made an Endura in the British racing green handles and a VG10 blade? I just purchased one nib and was wondering if this was a production model or one that someone has done a blade swap on. Thanks.

The VG10 is the top knife in the photos.

Hi Vwb,

Could be a blade swap, or even possible to be a factory goof that no one caught. :o
What does the box say?

vwb563: Neat collection you've got.

I'd say it's a blade-swap. Here's mine, second from the right:

The cool thing is you have an interesting, non-production knife.

I also have a non-'waved' Delica 4 in the gray 'waved' scales, that someone else switched out before I got it. (Lower right)

Swapping out the scales on the Endura 4 & Delica 4 is fairly straightforward.

I had a standard serrated Endura 4, with black FRN scales. I wanted a different color, but while ZDP-189 is a great steel, I was happy with VG-10. I switched out the scales and traded the black-FRN-scaled, ZDP-bladed E4 to a fellow member in SoCal.

Hi Sal! Thanks for the input. I checked the box and it doesn't have a model #. There isn't a white decal on the end of the box like all other Spydercos I've seen. I'm thinking it's probably a blade or handle swap. Either way I like it! ;)
