These scales are BRG. They were not original to this knife.

We pulled the color from an early Lotus Formula One car. (backl then when race cars had country colors and real factory names).

Thank You Sir for that info, the color looks great! I am fixing to Order the ZDP-189 FFG, and a Tan VG-10. I love the FFG and the colors Spyderco is putting them out with.

BRG, is by far the nicest handle colour, for any knife, in my books.
Sure wish there were more offerings, even in G10

After heavy use! Still looks good even with epoxy in on the handle and spending days in the sun! great color
