Looking at a delica in this color. Is this a really dark green, like almost black? It's hard to tell from the pics.

Thanks.

That color is used on the Delica's, Endura's, Stretch's as well as other Spydies with the ZDP-189 steel.

It is like a deep forest green. Not close to black at all. Nice color - I've got the British Racing Green DragonFly in my pocket right now...

Like Phillipsted said, it's like a dark forest green. It's a nice color, and the steel is outstanding.

It is a dark green. I could see how it could be confused for black in the right light.

Do an image search for british racing green aston martin.

Here are some pics of my BRG ZDP Delica:

This picture was taken with a flash so it looks a little lighter:

Thisis the color. If you used Google to search for the color, you could see the various representations of the color. For some reason, it is hard to photograph accurately, unless you use a lightbox or daylight.

I love BRG. I'm thinking about getting a zdp ladybug in BRG So i will have a sheeple friendly blade that'll cut for days. My dad recently picked up a John cooper works mini cooper in BRG, It's a beautiful color on that car:thumbup:

BRG is one of my farvorite colors. Though that statement can be misleading, as BRG has varied quite a bit over the years. I actually need to get a list of all the BRG Spydercos and order them. I already have 2-3 on my Amazon wishlist (not always the best place to order a knife, but one of the few places I've seen BRG Spydies listed). And seelow123, I've been eyeing a Mini in BRG for a couple years now. Hopefully, in I'll have enough for my down payment next spring.

I'm halfway colorblind, but I find Spyderco's British Racing Green to be very dark and almost black. For example in Mr. Buff's pics, that knife looks black to my eyeballs but he say its BRG. I think its fair to say that its pretty dark.

Wow, I like the orange delica too. I'm assuming that's the vg10 ffg? Can you tell a real noticeable difference etween the two blade steels?

It was a ffg vg10 but i swapped blades with another ffg zdp blade and sent it out to tom krein for a regrind

I own a green and grey ffg delica in vg10 and its difficult to compare them because the edge and blade of the zdp is so much thinner than the vg10.
