This model has been scarce lately, hopefully not forgotten among the bigger and flashier models. I hoped the new kamis would have crafted an accurate version of the old war horse. No decoration on the blade, just a single line on either side along the spine like the WWII model would be welcome. I could be wrong but I would be willing to bet that one of these new kamis has regimental training. I would like to see this often forgot about but highly useful model make a return. The new sarki seems more than capable of making an accurate two strap military frog as well

we'll note for scale, the BAS on the top is the normal sized model ;)

also, not the full tang feature ;)

mmm, nice BAS :>

Good Lord, the karda's almost as big as the standard BAS! What are the specs on that monstrosity?

These pieces are vintage, so I'm not trying to cause an uproar with the mods ;) but the kuk in front is what I'm hopin the HI kamis can hammer out

Agreed Big W. I use mine more than any other. Its much bigger than any other knife I've ever carried and yet small enough not to need a litter bearer!

And when made at the original size, it can slice and dice food with the best of them and yet also chop wood very well. The relatively thin blade would, as expected, still be a formidable weapon even though it is not as long as an M43 or Sirupate.

(I do still like the older issue, with the rounded spine but, that is just my obsession, not really a performance issue)
