I am interested in British Military swords and have been looking for good quality replicas.
I have found a company 'The Discriminating General' www.militaryheritage.com who carry a range which appear from the pics on their web page to be of good quality.
Is anybody familiar with these swords who can inform me of their quality and if they are suitable for use other than decrative.
Has anyone dealt with this company, I've sent them e-mail but they don't seem in any hurry to answer
Thanks
Dusty

Try asking your question on www.swordforum.com and on www.netsword.com as there are folks there who not only buy swords regularly but also make them and can offer good judgements as to the quality of a replica maker. And good luck.

BTW, I am not just trying to blow you off. If you had asked about Roman gladii, I would have been glad to help, but I know nothing about British Napoleonic Swords and Sabers so I suggested people who might.
