the following is a review of my British DPM woodland windproof smock with pictures.
the jacket is very well made, and has tons of storage , 7 pockets in all. 4 on the chest, 2 on the hip, 1 on the sleeve. It is waterproof/windproof( tested in a thunderstorm in NC). The pattern works really well here in NC( charlotte area), better than flecktarn, or M81 woodland, marpat.
The smock is VERY comfy and roomy for layering up underneath, and the hood is very deep to keep the wind/rain off of the face, and rolls up when not needed, and is tied down with a strap and button system. the hood has a wire brim, and dual draw strings to adjust it. there are also draw strings at the waist and at the bottom of the jacket to adjust the fit/keep the wind out. The sleeves are hook and loop adjustable at the wrist. Over all I am very happy with my purchase, the jacket costs $37 total to the front door, using UPS as a shipper.
