Hi everybody
I was wondering if there is already some experience with the new Bravo 1 in CPM3V out there?
We all seem to think that there have been some issues with edge retention due to different grinds (too thin on some) on the A2 models. Might that be the past now with the tougher 3V?
Thanks, A.

wasnt aware of any problems with the b1, i have the b2 and the gunny and a couple other brkt knives that are the best knives ive handled or used in quality, fit, finish and toughness. the convex grind might be difficult for some to understand if one is used to a beveled edge and sharpening with a tool thats made to sharpen a beveled edge. You have to take the 10 mins or so to learn how to sharpen a convex blade, which is about the easiest to sharpen imo. They also stand behind there products and will bend over backwards to make it right if there should ever be a problem, i had a burl handle crack on a canadian that they delt with and made the knife like new again and had it back in under a 2 week turn around. sent me emails with pics of the handle material they were going to use and if it met with my approval and everything. i cant say enough good things about a company who stands by theres products to that degree.

All things being equal, 3V will do almost everything a bit better/longer than A2 (and I very much like A2) at the cost of taking a bit more effort to sharpen and making the knives a good deal more expensive as the material itself is both significantly more expensive than A2 and more difficult to machine into a knife. As to the difference in maintaining an edge, if you're a skilled sharpener, it's not going to be much of a difference. If less skilled, you'll likely have to work at it longer, but it's not bad at all. 3V is right at the top of my list in terms of overall blade performance at just about any size.
