I've been looking at getting a new all arounder, for camping, hiking, etc. I'm looking for recommendations from people that have used/handled both hopefully or can tell me about one or the other. The comparative specs are..

Knife RMD Bravo-1
Blade length 5.5 4.25
Blade thickness 3/16 .22
Steel 52100 A2
Price About the same +/- a few $

RMD = Ratmandu...

He's making a comparative chart.

Knife ....................RMD...............Bravo-1
Blade length ..........5.5 ..................4.25
Blade thickness...... 3/16 ...................22
Steel ....................52100.................. A2

Price About the same +/- a few $

I've recently bought a BRK&T Bravo 1 SS with hard rock maple handle that's become my new backpacking/bush walking buddy. It's heavier than my old Buck 110 I used to hike with, but it's far more solid and robust. I like the idea of having a knife I can baton fire wood with and make emergency shelter if needed. It's also a better self defense blade in my opinion. I also chose the Bravo 1 because I'm partial to natural wood handles and didn't want a knife to look overly threatening to park rangers or other backpackers. I hope this helps.

I have both these knives. Both knives have good ergos and fit and finish. The steel is comparable although THE RMD's to my knowledge have all come with coated blades.

The Bravo 1's have more handle options.

For me the RMD is the knife however. It is about an inch and a half longer than the Bravo with a thinner blade and perfect size and balance. The knife is extremely tough and easy to maintain.
