OK, I'm having a problem finding exactly what I want.
- I definitely don't want the thumb ramp
- I want the leather sheath instead of Kydex

Here's the problem: I'd prefer the Green Canvas Micarta handle, no thumb ramp, and leather sheath. However, this combo isn't available according to the BRKT site.
I'm wondering if any dealers allow sheath substitutions?
I could get the knife as is, with the kydex sheath, and then buy the leather sheath separately, but that makes the deal quite a bit more expensive.
Are there any dealers that offer the combo I'm looking for?
I'll even go for a wood handle without the ramp, but the only 2 like that are Desert Ironwood, and Rosewood. And I can't find them anywhere?
Can I buy direct from from BRKT and have them custom make a no ramp, green canvas micarta handle, leather sheath combo for me? I mean, they obviously have no ramp knives, so all they'd have to do is slap on the handles of my choice, right?
Or will any of the other dealers grind off the ramp on an available knife and switch out sheaths?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'll bet you could find a BFC member who would trade leather for Kydex. Or maybe buy the ramped version and then grind the ramp off yourself.

A few options,

Buy the knife and an extra sheath. Sheaths are not really all that expensive, but I do understand you want to stay within your budget. You can sell the kydex and recoup some of the extra cost.

As suggested, buy the knife and try to find a forum member who will swap with you. Probabaly a good chance you will find someone.

Yes, you can special order your knife direct from BRKT through one of the dealers. If you are willing to wait until the next run of Bravo 1's. And, I'm not 100% certain if you can specify the sheath, but I can't see why not, Mike is always willing to go the extra for a customer.

Buy the knife with the ramp and leather sheath. Send the knife to Mike Stewart at BRKT and he will remove the ramp for free (cost of shipping) I believe, upon request. They turn knives around very quickly, so you won't be without it for long.

You may want to try the knife with the ramp. I actually like it, but YMMV. Good luck, its a great knife.

I just read on another post that BRK is coming out with the Bravo 1 in CPMS35vn and 3V, now you have 4 choices of steel.
Thing about the ramp is, your thumb should go in front of the ramp, not on it. A compromise would be to just knock off the top of the ramp, just a thought. How do you know unless you feel it first hand?
I have the EEP Sharpshooter sheath, it's quite nice.
