About to make another blade purchase. Intended use; General utility/bush-craft, and hunting at times. In a nutshell (General all-around use)

Contenders;

Bark River Fox River, A2 steel

Fallkniven S1, VG10 lam steel

Entrek Bravo, 440C steel

I have many knives already, and I know all three of these would make good general knives, but I am curious of hearing other opinions and thoughts of logic.

Any opinions and logical reasons welcome. Basically I cant decide on my own lol. :D

They are all good knives, I would have confidence in them all. Decide what is most important to you, toughness or rust resistance. How confident are you at sharpening convex edges? I only own the Entrek, I have used it quite extensively. I have opened cans, batonned, made feather sticks etc and it has never let me down. I did have the edge thinned a little, it is now shaving sharp. Whilst not having an S1, I have a F1, it is a very good knife. I also have a couple of Bark Rivers and am pleased with them.
