Does anyone know where to find these, and if they are not available, when will they see the stores?

I would love to hear from some that have put them through some hard use.

The BRKT Golok is not currently available, unless you find a private owner willing to sell one.

However, Mike Stewart of BRKT says he's planning on making a run of them very soon, and you can contact your favorite BRKT dealer to order one now. My favorite dealers are these guys:

Derrick

Larry

I've had my Golok for about a year and a half, and have used it extensively for camping, brush clearing, etc. It batons beautifully. It's light and quick in the hand, and cuts like a laser. I don't go to the bush without it.

Bolt,

The new run of BRKT Goloks are supposedly going to be made with the legendary BRKT A2 steel. If you can, wait for the new run instead of buying from the secondary market.

He mentioned May as the timeframe for the Goloks to be available, btw. If you put in an order, you can get one made with almost any handle material you can think of, with your choice of pin types.

Ohh...I hadn't seen these before...

Thanks alot! Now there's another Bark River to want...Amboynia burl, mosaic pins, great blade...mmmm...:D

Ray :)

I have one with blaze orange G3 grips. When it came in it had spots of pin rust on it. ( A hazard of some runs of BRK&T A2) It had been so hard to find one that I took it anyway. After a light polishing the rust came off. I had JRE Industries make up a custom leather sheath for it and a blaze orange handled BRK&T Lil chute.

I carry this combo stuck under my belt. We often hunt and fish on rivers here in NC. I keep the combo in the tool box in my boat. When we go ashore to explore or set up a place to hunt it is the the perfect blade combo for riverine enviroment we hunt in. Some of the river bottoms here in NC would remind you of a more tropical enviroment. The Golok is perfect for vines, briers and small saplings and the Lil Chute is a great all around bushcraft and hunting knife.

BEWARE OF THE GOLOK.

This thing is no joke a glancing blow to a vine, brier or limb that contacts your body can cause extremely deep cuts. If you are far enough from help that could a deadly situation.
