I'm really interested in this knife. I really like the scale designs available, and the 3V steel sounds like good stuff to try out, but I'm a little weary of spending that much on a knife without ever seeing it or handling it.

Does anyone have any experience with this knife? Any reviews or places I could get a better idea of it than just a picture?

my lil canadian came as i ordered in orange micarta. it's a wonderful small knife that feels great in the hand. the 3v holds a good edge & this is no toy--strong little knife that could do an elk if necessary.

I have three, one for myself, and one for each of the kids. All of us really like the L'il Canadian.

As a general comment, every Bark river knife I have purchased has been top notch quality, fit and finish. Well worth every penny in my humble opinion.

Note: the 3V steel is very abrasion resistant, and it does take a little extra effort to sharpen. The edge holding is well worth the effort.

I own about 11 or 12 Bark River's now, and I can only echo what Dag-nabit says about BRKT quality. Top-notch. They are by far my favorite semi-custom knives. My sharpest Bark Rivers are both mini-Canadians, A-2 steel. Both, when I'm doing my part, will tree-top "pop" hairs off my forearm or back of hand.

I don;t own a lil-Canadian or any knife of theirs with their (new to them) CPM3V steel, but I can say you will NOT be disappointed with that 'lil knife....or any other Barkie that strikes your fancy. Also, fear no cutting work when using any Bark River knife.....the steel thicknesses are substantial....these are no Moras!

Welcome to the world of convex edges! Be prepared to learn a new way of sharpening knives (unless you own some already).
