BRKT Sheath?

Can anyone tell me, with regard to the leather sheaths being produced by Sharpshooter for BRKT, is there a welt stitched into the sheath to keep the blade off the stiches and rivets or is it as they appears...weltless. I read of the stitching coming loose on these sheaths and that suggests some corners may have been cut in design, in addition to the stitching.

I can only speak for those that I own. There is indeed a welt. In fact, there is a double welt on the ones with a firesteel loop.
 
I have never heard of problems with the sharp shooter sheaths, have heard some complaints with some of the earlier ones. Wouldn't matter anyway... if you encounter a problem, they will switch it out for you.
