I managed to get a Bark River Ultra Lite Bushcrafter a while back. Although I really like the knife, I wasn't too crazy about the high riding sheath design that came with it. So I replaced it with some thick Tandy leather I had left. Edges were stained black and leather was bees waxed. Originally I planned to use it just as a pocket sheath, but added the belt loop at the last minute and it shows. Next time I would have done the loop differently. I also had some trouble with back stitching. I think I should have enlarged the last few holes. But the over stitch wheel helped a kot. I think this is the straightest stitch line I've ever had on the front and back. Live and learn.
This is about the 6th or 7th sheath of mine I believe. I appreciate so much all the tips and advice offered here in each and every step. I don't post in this subforum very often but always lurk around and enjoy everyone sharing their work.
There is some crazy serious talent around here!
