I have been searching for a broad axe for a while now with not much luck. I find them in all sorts of conditions. The problem is I feel they are all over priced. I stumbled onto some today and one that stood out to me was a large Keen Kutter in good shape hardly any wear or pitting. It had a nice handle that was steam bent. I don’t have any pics of it but believe me it was beautiful. I was uncertain whether or not I should pull the trigger on it due to the price. What are your guys thoughts on price of a piece like this. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Due to the rules of the site we're not allowed to discuss axe prices with non- paying members. You should get a membership! You've been posting a fair bit!
While you can find a good deal once you know what you are looking for if you buy a good one off the 'bay it'll cost you a little bit.
It's nice to have one with a makers mark so you know you are buying quality. There's a good one on there right now that's a D.R. Barton but the seller doesn't know it. I'll try to find it and PM you the link.
