Broad axe with "G Kennedy" at butt

Hi all, newbie here.... wondering if anyone would know anything about a broad axe with "G KENEDY" stamped at the butt? This is the only indentifying Mark's I can see.... thanks!

Its 1 "N" and it is a backwards "N" I believe... I am not sure how to upload a picture to the thread to show you all...
