Its been quite a while since I've posted in the gallery. I'm finally getting back to the smaller hunters and camp knives after a long bout with what were nearly short swords ;) . I'm really excited about my new direction which will include a couple of folders and some bali's too. This one is a new twist on an early design of mine. Steel is satin finished ATS34 , it finished at .220 after grinding and is 12-1/8" OAL. Blade length from tip to scale is 7-3/16". Scales are black linen w/blue liner on a tapered tang. I finally feel like my grinds are starting to improve and that my KMG is under my control instead of vice versa. :) Looking for critique and any constructive criticism or for someone to just plain out & out rip on me :D Thanks for lookin

I like the blade shape and the tapered tang. The grip seems to have a palm swell- a nice touch if real. Seems like it would make a great "camp knife".
Nicely done!

Thank you very much fellas :)

Thanks bennett, the willow leaf style blade is one of my favorites too

Thanks Dr., ;) here is a different pic of the handle, there is indeed a palm swell, unfortunately these are the only pics I have that "kind of" show it. Nothing straight on.

Wow, thanks Keith :D , coming from you that means a lot to me. ;)
