Commissioned this almost a year ago. It arrived today. Maker is David Broadwell. I sent him a few pics of a Cronk handle and asked him to glue one of his blades to it. He did a fantastic job!

Damascus blade is Mike Norris' stainless ladder ala San Mei w/440v core. Blade is hollow ground and fully sharpened on both edges. Stainless handle with African Black Wood scales.

Easily one of the nicest blades I have seen posted in quite some time. David's work is spectacular to say the least. I currently am saving for one that I want to have made. Unfortunately, I have a ways to go yet :(

That is unbelievable - it is one of the most amazing fixed blades I've yet seen. David is one of the best there is! Thanks for posting the picture.

Thanks all. She's a real beauty! I'm sleeping with her tonight! :D I'm sending it out soon to have the Hilt, Sub-Hilt and Butt engraved. Going to have Von Krenner scratch it all up for me I believe.
 
WOW!!! That blade is LITERALLY sharp!

Great score. That is one VERY impressive piece and you are right--those bolsters are just right for a little tasteful engraving. What a gem it is going to be then!! Great ideas on that shape.

David and I have been talking--and he's been drawing! I have a to-scale pencil drawing of a fancy knife right on my desk. He's got it logged-in on his schedule. I won't give it away, but right now you are stealing my thunder!!!!! ;)

Well.., all the adjectives have been used Burn :) Boy that's a great knife!! As mentioned.., worth the wait for sure..., hope you enjoy it...
