Hey All,
A customer of mine, who is the Team Lead for a SWAT org, and now turned knifemaker, teamed up with me to make a new knife for the Blade Show. I had this idea cooking for a while, so I sent Stump (Ken Brock) the sketch to see what he thought about it. He like the concept so off we go. He performed the profiling and drilling of the holes and sent the knives to me for blade bevel grinding and grip serration milling. Back to Ken for heat treat, bead blast, cord wrap and sheath work. Back at me again for logo and final sharpening. What you see is the finished product, which we feel pretty good about
The knife is dual edged and chisel ground with the dual style tanto tip. It should allow the knife to penetrate like a dagger with some increased tip strength. The knives were made from 3/16" thick ATS34, with a 4" blade and 8 1/2" oal. The final weight was 5.0 oz!
Thanks for taking a look
