Hmmm this post is the one that busted the 1000 post cherry, and I gotta say the shower wasnt too bad, though the wet noodle beating left a little to be desired, otherwise the rest of the initiation was quite pleasant.:D :p

That's a relief. I've heard lots of horror stories about that #1000 post, and I was getting worried, I don't have much time left myself.

PINE CONE??!!!??

I suppose if I made it through Shellback and Bluenose, I can handle this.

I musta passed the 1K post so early they didn't require the fomalities.

:D :D :D

Last tattoo I had took 6 hours, with a nice little river of blood trickling down my hand to the floor. Nice little red lake on the floor when it was done. Though, the most painful one I had was on my shin, everytime the needle went in, it was like sticking leather. I had to say the sound, was worse than the actual pain. Anyways, I have to say, in comparisson, the pine cone was worse.  :D :p Though, if they insist, try to limit the amount of peanut butter.:( :D :barf:

The 6 hour one looked worse than it was. For some reason my arm decided it wanted to bleed. Otherwise, the artist was pretty good, just a large tattoo (takes up half my fore-arm). To be honest I was surprised that it took so long. Went in thinking Id be there for a hour, when I left I was surprised it was dark:D Though in reality it took a good long time trying to plan the thing out. Here I am wanting a polynesian tattoo in a shop that specializes in japanese and fantasy styles. Luckily after a long time of, no I want it to look like this, a new artist came in who just happened to be from Hawaii, and familiar with Polynesian tattoos.

As for the one on the leg, that was a good ol India Ink tattoo, done with a sewing needle, when I was a teenager (ie. to young to go into a real tattoo shop). A friend did part of it, after he got grossed out I did the rest. The wierdest sensation of putting the needle into my own leg, like sticking a pin into leather, with a nasty sound as well. Needles to say, the tattoo didnt finish out as planned. 30 minutes of poking myself, was too much. :barf: :D Though I gotta admit, after that, getting the occaisional punch to the face, has been rather anti-climatic.:D

For me, getting hit in the face would be the highlight of the evening. :( I'd have to roll credits and be "off the air" for awhile.

Ive always been surprised by the difference in power between trained fighters, and un-trained fighters. Ive been hit by some big guys, who were "street fighters" (in other words no training other than the occaisional fight), and have been surprised at how little power they generated. Then Ive been hit by small guys with training, whove rocked my world. Best example was my dad, at 60 years old, just got out of the hospital from a heart attack, had borsitis, was all of 130 lbs, but still had punches that could move me at 30 lbs heavier and 4 inches taller and supposedly still young strong at 16.

Congrats on the big 1000! Still trying to get by 300 myself. Now that mama is a member I'd bet that she passes me up by summer!

1015 and just getting stranger and stranger.:D Bruise I aint got bees, but I have a few toys that are worse. :p

WrongFriend, after all the other initiations, the shower was rather refreshing. :barf: :D
