Broke an omega spring

So while playing with my knife, I managed to break one of the omega springs today. Does anyone know if Omega springs are standard? Or are they model specific? I don't really want to send it back to Benchmade as I have taken the knife apart and modified it so it likely won't be covered under warranty.

I have an older presidio in 440c that I never use and was considering cannibalizing it for the omega spring.

I had one brake on a griptilian last week. I emailed benchmade and got two coming in the mail. Go to there website and fill out the parts form. BM customer service is great.

Yes BKC's customer service Is great, but sometimes it depends on who you connect with up there. I have no luck finding a parts request form, that's not on their site that I can see. Their policy remains; for replacement clips and screwsets just call and ask; for any other parts, and exceptions are sometimes made, depending...but the most common route is to send the knife in.

It must be who you talk to. I sent the form in and called told them my situation and they said they would send a set out.Sorry I don't have a name.

Yeah, the answer really is it depends. I would be curious to know if you do receive the set, they're not hard to replace.

Omega springs are all one size as far as I could see on the Benchmades I've taken apart.

Cannibalize that Presidio and send it in for new springs afterwards. That way you'll get to keep your favorite knife AND get a new spring.
