Managed to get out with a buddy of mine this past weekend for a two day camp. Brought along my new BK7 for a test drive. To say the least, this knife has what it takes. Handles well, is comfortable (at least to me), razor sharp and has good balance. No complaints whatsoever.
Scavenged wood was slightly damp and needed to be split to get the fire going. It batoned like a champ!
R.I.P. Wood
Come on baby light my fire
The BK7 did not do this, but I have no doubt it could in a pinch!
Had a great time. Night time temps in the upper 40's and daytime mid 70's. I guarantee my BK7 will come along on every trip from now on. Thanks Ethan for making and BladeForums for enlightening me on the beauty of this knife!
