Completely unsurprising, jammed it in a sheet of laminated particle board and gave some lateral pressure, trying to get it to start chipping out. The second I started to pull sideways I thought "This is probably gonna-"*SNAP* Got a hammer next
Had it since the first Xmas they hit the street, now I'm trying to decide if I wanna send it in to get the blade replaced, or try something different. The handle is really awesome, so I'l probably keep it, depending on the price of a replacement blade. Kinda mulling over a 710HS, but sharpening a recurved M2 blade might not be fun. Maybe a Ritter grip, if the issues with the S30V have been resolved on that model. The replacement/placeholder while the 806 is repaired is gonna be an Axis, or maybe a drop point D'Allara-bearing lock is awful close.
Any sort of buzz on maybe a gravitator with the axis? I mean, the Hybrid uses the handle/liner lock of a gravitator with the blade profile that Snody put on an axis H&K first-so they should be able to go the other way with blades/locks easily.
