I was playing with my Para2 and dropped it on my Macbook. Suffice to say the Macbook won
Any ideas on how I can fix my tip? My phone won't focus enough to capture the tip but the damage is very minimal.
Essentially, the fine tip is flat but you couldn't tell unless you inspected it.
I tried to use my sharpmaker to regrind the tip back, but I don't think that helped. Could've made it worse.
I can live with it but I figure I would ask for any advice.

If you still want a straight spine like the PM2 has you could try sharpening the edge up near the tip. If you don't mind a small drop in the spine in the tip some coarse sandpaper (80 grit) and start re profiling the spine like you were.

P.S. Mackbooks suck. :D:foot:

You can 1) sharpen it out, 2) grind it out, 3) send it to Spyderco, 4) send it to a 3rd party or 5) leave it. I would say try #1 or #3. I've reprofiled broken tips with a grinder, and its no biggy. If its so small that you can't really see it, then maybe just forget it and rock on. Good luck.

I'd say sharpen it out, but not on the sharpmaker (unless you're careful not to pull the tip off the rod). I have a friend who broke the tip on his Para2 and rounded it off big time when trying to fix it on the sharpmaker. If you (or a buddy) have water stones or other bench stones or an edge pro, it shouldn't be that hard to fix. Or just continue using it and sharpening it normally (avoiding rounding it off) until you have a new tip. I offered to fix my friend's Para2, but he hasn't taken me up on the offer, so keep that lack of credibility in mind when reading my post :D
