I'm getting a lot of mileage out of my last purchase of Blackwood! It's so nice, I just can't resist it.
Here is my Chairman model that ended up coming off the anvil with a slight "Brokeback". I'll admit, it was late at night after a loooooooooong day in the shop and I just simply didn't notice it in the low light. (That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.)
Forged down from my 1 inch square 5160, and differentially heat treated. really nice temper line shows up well in the 800 satin finish.
Hot blued mild steel take-down fittings all contour filed to fit the sculpted Blackwood handle.
6 inch blade and right at 11 inches overall.
Thanks for sharing with me!

don't call it bent, just call it additional clearance for a Girthy right hander buyer!

Wow Karl, that is a beautiful piece of work  I'm really liking the knives you're making. Always super clean lines and this one is no different. Incidentally, I like the broke back look on this one ;)

I like it. Aint nothin wrong with that knife. That's what we call character.
