Hi everybody,
i want to present my forged Seax by Owen Bush.
I got this blade last year and Rainer Plett from Messer Unikat made the handle.
Here are some pics and infos:
(from Owen Bushs website)
Here a link to an original one, that i really like:
The Sittingbourne Seax.
Early 10th century, foot-long blade with copper alloy and silver inlay, inscribed on one side with the words SIGIBEREHT ME AH meaning Sigibereht owns me, and on the other with BIORTHELM ME THORTE meaning Biorthelm made me.
The handle made (as i said) Rainer Plett / Messer Unikat.
.
Its from ash.
The Seax is ready:
Enjoy the pics....its an awesome knife!!!!
Thanks a lot, Owen and Rainer !!!
