This morning I started to take some pics to post on different threads. When I was about to clean one of my Dan Burke Balows this is what I found.

This is the third broken spring on a 69 frame. Queen is gone. So I'm asking if anyone can recommend a skilled cutler that can fix this?

I don’t think that would be cost effective to fix. I would recommend getting a donor knife for a new spring, or just converting your Barlow to a single blade. Which blade’s spring broke?

I feel like I've seen pics where Glenn has replaced broken springs...he has a wait list though. Not sure if he made/tempered them or harvested from another knife.

Looks like it was the secondary spring that broke, I'd buy a sacrificial 69 Queen knife for a donation and try and get one of our fellow knife tinkerers to fix it.

Shame, that is one of my favorite barlows of all time. Mine is a treasured companion.
