I tried to crop and expand an existing picture, so forgive me if its a bit fuzzy :/

but i was gifted with a TL-29 (recent surge of TL-29 posts made me think of this) (Thanks BRL!) and it came pretty stiff (which i was able to fix with several mineral oil baths) and a broken bail.

Its not a huge deal, its still a cool knife...I love the traditionalness of this pattern
but i thought i would ask, any suggestions on fixing this?

since it rotates cant figure it out..then again, it just may be character for my knife
and thats ok too, just thought i would ask

Replace it. You can buy cheap one, at certain auction site, and use it for parts. Or remove the bail and make new one by yourself.
