Broken Skull - Blade centering off after reassembly

Yesterday I disassembled my Broken Skull Folder to clean it from grime.
When ist reassembled it I noticed that the centering was off. It wasn't perfect before, but a lot better than it is now.
If I don't tighten the pivot screw fully the centering is better but the closed blade moves from side to side, which I don't like.
The washers are all in place.
Any ideas what could have happened?

With the blade closed:
-Tighten the pivot screw all the way down
-Loosen the handle screws on each side slightly
-Push the blade over so it touches the opposite scale (if it's touching the left hand scale as you look down on it, push it to the right scale, and vice-versa)
-Place a wedge of paper in between blade and scale to hold the blade in that position
-Tighten the handle screws down
-Pop out the paper wedge
-Adjust the pivot back out until it's where you want it.

Here's a video that shows the basic procedure. I prefer a paper wedge over the allen key the guy uses in the video, and on the Broken Skull you'll have to loosen the handle screws on both sides. Other than that, a good vid.

Wow, thank you very much. I'll try that later when I get home from work. I'll let you know if it worked

No problem. I'm glad it worked out well. I've used this method several times, myself, and usually get good results.

It works. Your back spacer and scales are slightly out of alignment, and causing off centering. The process above fixes that. Also, make sure to loosen, then retighten your pocket clip screws as well.
