Broken SOG Twitch II

Hello everyone,

Well about 2 months ago I purshased a SOG Twitch 2, I haven't really used it much, and the spring broke. At first the blade would only go out half way and then jam. I unscrewed the pivot screw (Probebly a bad idea...) and you could see the spring was busted in half. So I e-mailed SOG and never got a reply at all. I don't really want to ship my knife to u.s.a since i live in canada and don't want too risk a customs sizure. Do you have any ideas about I should do?

Best thing you can do is wait until Chris reply's on this. The email service is horrible, SOG should clone Chris a couple of times and then the service would be excellent.

But anyway, I'm sure Chris will answer on this and he will probably tell you to send the knife in. I guess that SOG can fix that spring for you.

BTW, I just remember that I bought a Flash 2 form Canada. They tight the pivot screw very tight in Canada so that the assisted opening doesn't work anymore. You need to loose the screw a little to fine tune the opening. Then it will open fast. Maybe the spring busted because it had to much pressure on it.

But anyway, next time loose the pivot screw to let it open more smoothly. And if I were you I would just wait until Chris says that you can send the knife in.

Thanks! I hope he replys. The spring actually fell on the floor since it was basicly just flew out... I only found half the spring... Would they still be able to repair it?

Yeah thats what I was hopping they would be able to do since it looks very simple. But still no replys lol. If worse comes to worse i'll just phone them.
