I've had my Blur for a little over a month and when I tried to open up my Blur, it made a gritty-crunchy sound and didn't flick open. The tension bar is pooched!

Is this under warranty? Has anyone from Canada ever done a warranty claim? Any suggestions?

All you need to do is contact Kershaw through their Warranty page on the Kershaw website. You can fill out the little form telling warranty what happened and what you need. They will then ship it to you. There is a reason why many, many people praise the Kershaw!

Call up Kershaw's customer service department. You'll find their phone number on their website. It's a lot quicker than email correspondence - just let them know what the problem is and they'll take care of you.

I had precisely the same problem and they sent me a couple of torsion bars, a spare pocket clip, and the torx bits required to take the knife apart. All of which arrived about two days after I called them. As far as I know, you can also send it in and have Kershaw replace the broken parts, but it's a very simple thing to replace.
