I just pulled my Queen #26 Medium Stockman (3.25") from my backpack, only to discover that the backspring on the main blade had broken off. I don't use this knife much, and I have no idea how it happened. It was fine just last week. This is the first time I've ever had a knife break, so I'm a little shocked.

I called Queen, and they said they would fix it. Hopefully it will be covered by warranty.

Sorry to hear this. I know first hand how it feel to have a knife with a spring that just let go, it's a bummer. Queen has treated me very well on the one repair (non-spring related) that I needed  Good luck to you! Let us know how it all turns out.

Of all the knives I've ever had, there was one that had a broke spring. It broke while I had the blade open cleaning it. Camillus US Navy SS military knife 1964 date. Had a guy here on BF "repaired" it. I'm sure queen will take care of you.

Wow, never seen that before. Given the unique nature of this I'm sure they'll make it right.
