Broken spring

I bought this knife when I was a kid. It was lost for many years and when we were cleaning out my parents house I found it. The spring is broken and I would love to get it repaired. Any suggestions on who or where to get that done?

It is not an expensive knife. And it should be pretty common. You can likely find another just like it to use as a replacement.

It isn't a cheap knife either, by my standards, but to follow through with your sentiment wouldn't be cheap by my standards, either.

It's not a case knife. It a Schrade Old Timer. I think it is USA made, but can't read all of the tang stamp in that picture, so am not certain.

Yes it’s an old 51OT that I bought from my granddad back in the late 70’s or early 80’s. USA made.

it's a lockback, so replacing the spring shouldn't be too hard or expensive.
