So it was 430am I was 75% complete after about an hour of stitching I had put the final stitch in my x belt loop and wanted to make sure it was tight, I pulled it very snug and the thread snapped, I tossed the sheath (literally) and went to sleep, now I'm awake and I want to finish , I'm an amateur this is my first time with a snapped thread before stitching is complete, my question is.....
Do I remove all the threads and start all over again?
Or is there a way to continue without starting all over again?

It's hard from your post to tell just where you were on the sheath when the wreck happened. If it happened right at the surface level, then pull out four or five stitches to give you a little tag end to work with place a little dab of Elmer's glue or similar on the thread so when you pull it back tight the glue is in the hole. Wait a few minutes for the glue to set up and then cut those threads flush with the surface. Start fresh sewing again one hole before your last stitch, overlap that last stitch, and get it on from there.

This answer assumes you were using a double needle saddles stitch.

Yes there is a way to continue -
1) Start a new thread two or three holes back over the original thread - this will lock the original thread in place.
2) Finish sewing as normal
3) If you LIGHTLY dampen the leather just along the sewing area where you are over stitching the original thread will allow you to press the double thread deeper

Looks like Paul and I were posting at the same time - only difference is I back up a bit farther and I don't like using glue, but then I dye and a glue spot can be hard to deal with at times.

No need to start over, take a new length of thread and stitch three or so holes on either side of the broken thread and cut flush.

Start on one side three holes away and end three holes past the break.

Hopefully that makes sense. :p

EDIT: Looks like I'm late to the party, that's what I get for getting distracted mid post. There were no answers before! :D

Looks good! I cant really tell where you did the repair. :)

btw, isn't the RMD awesome! :D

oh yes! The 4 is the only one I kept out of the SAR line, I really like the ergo's and blade shape. If you like the SAR4 do yourself a favor and handle a BAe and NOe. I've used both of mine extensively as well as the SAR4 but the BAe is one I'd never forget on a trip.

For some reason the older INFI does indeed keep an edge longer than the newer stuff.
