Broken Whistle, & Loose Sheath

I have a question. I accidentally broke the side out of my whistle cord lock end that came with my Izula kit, and was wondering if I can buy one from the dealer I originally bought it from or do I have to go directly to the RAT crew?

Also, My sheath seems to be lacking the "snap" that it originally had as well. I use my Izula all the time and am constantly pulling it in and out of the sheath, so my question is: Over time should it be an expectation for the sheath to experience " normal wear" and begin to lose its grip on the knife blade? If so, thats cool with me, I will just figure out how to make a new one out of leather or something.

BTW, Jeff and Mike: I am no expert on knife steels, but my Izula is one of the toughest knives I have ever owned and man does it ever get razor sharp. You guys make friggin' awesome knives.:D

If you look at the retention system on the sheath, it would make sense that it would wear over time with alot of use.

I honestly wouldn't worry too much about it as long as the retention is still firm enough to hold the knife.

As for the whistle, Goinggear.com has them at a great price. Not positive if it's the same brand as the RAT model.

Good enough for me. That was one of the first thoughts that crossed my mind when I received the knife & kit in the mail. Thank you for your help. It is greatly appreciated.
