This knife is a CHONK! I forged the blade from a 2" 5160 round bar that had originally been a John Deere load control shaft (it's damn good steel) and this one is ready to get work d o n e. It measures 4 1/4" from tip to guard (about 1 1/2" from spine to edge) and I left an extended ricasso to both strengthen the blade design but also to choke up on when the job is tight. You've got a razor sharp convex grind as well. The guard is aluminum-bronze that is soldered in place over a classic stack of black fiber and leather over an aluminum pommel that I pinned through the tang with copper. Overall she measures 8 1/2" and it comes in one of my custom pouch sheaths too. Sans the kitchen, there is just about nowhere I wouldn't use this knife- it's a bit on the stockier side and that never bothers me in the pack when it comes to backcountry and hunting adventures (or if Russia invades). Whatever it is you need, I am willing to guarantee this knife will get that job done. It's up for grabs too -> https://www.cunninghamcustomshop.com/product-page/stacked-leather-drop-point
