I have a bronze bladed knife with an intricately carved ivory handle (Oriental looking - dragon's head, etc.). The blade and handle are curved together with an overall length of about 11". A local knifemaker/metallurgist says it is shaped like an assassin's knife. Anyone have an idea where it's from or what it's worth? (also posted on Collectibles Board)
 
Try posting at www.netsword.com too. People there are likely to know something, likely a lot.

Getting even a rough estimate of value is hard, though.

Posting a picture will help a lot.
