Bronze Blade Schrade Folder

I have long admired the simplicity of old Schrade wire handle folders, scout kits have a folding knife, fork and a small non folding spoon in a leather case.

Recently I aquired a Schrade copper/bronze?? blade wire handle knife reported to be used while working around explosives.

are you sure thats not rust? look at the shiny metal near the handle and tip

The blade is non magnetic. I've forged a fair amount of copper and some silicon bronze and will have to dig out some old pieces and compare colors. There are many copper/bronze alloys, would be interesting to know what the blade is exactly.

Where the blade pivots it is a bit shiny from wear, I oiled it after receiving it.
