Does anyone sell bronze bushings, or is it best to buy raw stock and build to fit?

McMaster-Carr or MSC is where I buy all my bushings, Mike. If your application for an oddball size, or just too tight, you can run a reamer through it, which can also be purchased in decimal sizes to match darn close to any dimension you need.

Hmm . . . I checked those, but didn't find anything in 3/16 long. I'll keep checking it out. How much "bushing" so you use? I want to use 3/16-inch pivots in them.

i ues somthing very similer to what your wanting. i use them in my folders, but im lucks i found mine at work. i have about 100 ill post a pic of them

Texas knifemakers supply has them.

Texas Knifemaking Supplies and also K&G show them in the latest catalogs I have BUT unless I missed it, they all have 1/8 holes and 3/16 OD and I'm not sure either can match your desired length.
MSC has oil impregnated bronze but you may need to turn it to your desired OD from 3/8 or 1/4 and drill it....or can use another bushing bronze like alloy 544 which is much less costly....but will still need to precision drill solid rod...like on a precision lathe..

Thanks -- they have the washers but no bushings.

Sorry! I misread the question.

I looked all over for any in that width and I cannot find anything.
