Bronze for casting guards

I would like to put a bronze guard on my utility hunting knife and would like to start by sand casting. I have the small sand casting equipment these folks sell and am considering buying the bronze casting grain they sell at this link. Is this an outrageous price? If so, where would you recommend I go?

Thanks

Can't help ou with the price but - The first is yellow brass and with thatmuch zinc care must be taken because zinc fumes are toxic .Use only in a very well ventilated area and use a respirator. The Pb makes it a free machining grade , very easy to file or machine. Bronze age stuff was about 10% tin in copper and those tools and weapons were all cast .It works well for that...The others are silicon bronze , strong with a good [for me] color.

Silicon bronze is an especially good choice for casting, in the lost wax class I took that's the only bronze the teacher would use. The reason is that the silicon in the bronze makes it self fluxing, otherwise you'd need a separate flux. On a sidenote, silicon bronze is better for forging then alot of other alloys.
