bronze letter opener?

I found a old b bronze letter opener in the woods behind my house. I've looked every where and can't find any info on it. The handle is a full body of an Indian and on the back it has a pick and shovel logo with the letters m.s. anyone have any info? I also come across lots of old knives and antiques.
