All - I'm in the market for a nice, small sized friction folder or slip joint with a bronze (preferred) or a copper handle. Mokume is also an option; brass on the other hand is sub optimal for me.

Who are the makers I should look at? Right now, I'm aware of Jens Anso's Monte Carlo, which is a bit rich for my blood. I'm also keeping my eyes on Darriel Caston's work - it's not clear whether he has something like that right now (I like his BabyX for example).

I think I’ve seen some Michael Morris friction folders with metal handles. I’ve got a regular micarta one and it’s well made and fun. And his rates are very reasonable. Here’s mine:

Look for a J.H.Lloyd knife or John Lloyd. he has made several slippy that his price is right.
