I posted a couple of photos elsewhere in a thread about frame construction since this is missing the grips and the frame is wide open.
I got this from an estate where there were several other blades, mostly late 19th and early 20th century things, plus a WWII Japanese bayonet. I tried to look this up before i bought it, but if you've ever Googled "Broomhead & Thomas" you know there's not much out there. So I told the seller I'd roll the dice and buy it if the price was right.
Based on the little I have been able to find, I presume this dates from the 1835-1840 period, but I may be off on that, so any opinions are more than welcomed. There was no original scabbard, but someone made one just to keep the blade protected.
