I would like to apologize to Tom Mayo if these knives in any way infringe on any of his designs. Although my most sought-after grail is a Mayo Hawkbill, this design was never intended to copy that other than having the holes. I like the holes in the handle because it really makes a big difference in weight and balance. I looked at Wharnies from Christensen Knifeworks and Peter Rassenti when I designed this, and tried to incorporate some aspects that drew me to those 2 knives, mainly the compound grind of the CK, and the wharnie of Peter's Druid.

So in Nath's defense, he didn't copy any designs and just made what I requested. I didn't intend to copy Mr Mayo's knife, and I don't think I did at all although his design and a few others were the inspiration for it.
