Brous Bionic - Sanding the Flipper?

Hey guys,
I just got the brous bionic and after opening and closing it a few times, my finger hurts like hell. Most people say its because of the gimping, but I think its because of the really strong detent and the shape of the flipper. Don't get me wrong, I love the knife and build, but I don't think I can ever get used to flipping it with the shape of the flipper like this. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make the flipper less aggressive? Perhaps sanding? Or another mod?

Thanks

If you want to try it out for a few days before committing you can use some 2-part epoxy to fill in the jimping and make it temporarily smooth, pretty easy to get out to if you decide you want to go ahead and do it or revert to stock (you can dig it out or I believe there's a chemical to remove epoxy now days)

By epoxy, do you mean that glue like substance? I would have to take the knife apart no?

Anyone have any experience with Brous blades and know if they're easy to put back together with the bearing system?

I've taken apart a bionic and it's pretty simple it has a caged bearing system so the bearings will not all fall out. They will be just like a normal washer but make sure to remember which side goes against the blade when taken apart because the 2 sides of the bearings washer are different.

Yea that's the stuff. Get a 5 minute kind, wait 3 minutes till its tacky then smear it into the jimping to fill the voids. Who knows it may work well enough that you use it as the solution, not just a temp. way to test it out.

Nice! Does yours have an early lock up? Mine is ridiculously early and I tried making it fail and succeeded. Anything you doing to change that?

Mine does have early lockup, but not so early that it fails, with hand pressure. It locks up pretty solid.

I couldn't take it and decided I didn't care if I had to remove the black coating to do it. I sanded mine down and it's much more pleasant to use now:

I don't really understand why anyone would put sharp jimping where your finger lands on a flipper. Great little knife, otherwise.
