Im really interested in the brouse bionic but have heard its hard on your fingers when u flip it open. Not sure how big an issue this would be.
Can anyone confirm or deny.
thanks

Mine was sharp enough at the flipper landing zone that I sanded it down. For that matter, the scales have sharp edges all over them, all along the inside edges and particularly at the far end's pointy bit.

The Bionic has been an uncomfortable flipper that's quite overpriced. His T4 has been superb from day one!

No problem with mine on the flipper. However, the inside edges of the scales are indeed sharp. And yes, that is most noticeable on the pointy end. I like mine quite a bit. Very light with a very useful blade shape.

I have two, which are complete opposites. The silver handled one was very sharp all over, and it tore up my flipping finger and my thumb. The black one was perfectly fine.

My blue one is super hard . I sent it back. Got a new one and it's barely better than the previous one.
I'm really disappointed with their quality control.
I've e-mailed them for a trade for a bigger model . No answer.
I'm sending this one back again and tell them to make it smoother .
I can get ZT, CRKT and Benchmade for $169 or less that's better built . This just looks like a mini CRKT Ripple for a lot more.

Remember that this is Brous Blades' first attempt at a large, full production run of a knife at an affordable price. All of his prior work was considered either custom or semi custom and limited release. I'm sure they will work out the kinks.

I am sorry to say that other than it's looks, there was nothing about the Bionic I liked. The flipper was uncomfortable, the jimping was sharp, the handle didn't fit my hand right. Was very disappointed in that knife...

Thanks guys, the design is sweet but I'll pass. Now to keep looking for my first flipper
