Brous Blades Generations?

I'm considering buying a Brous Silent Soldier Flipper but am wondering if there is any significant difference between V2 and Gen 3 models--especially in terms of performance, feel in hand, and overall quality of action and build. Along with lots of positives on BF and You Tube, I've read some negatives in a few posts concerning quick forming rust, dull blades from the factory, and fast progression to late lock-up. Has anyone had experience with the progression through various SSF models? I'm especially curious because there's a considerable price difference between V2, Gen 3, and the new liner lock versions. Thanks for any first-hand info you can provide.

I too was curious about this? Places selling them say the Gen 3 liners are stainless steel. I don't know if they stop using titanium.
