Hi guys I'm looking for opinions here. Which would you guys prefer and why. Have you guys had any problems with either. And how does the blackout stand up to scratches on the blade? Thank you

Having neither, but having looked at both, I prefer the reloader based on looks... the mini division is nice looking too, but the reloader looks more comfortable to me.

As far as finish, I had found an older post that had a Brous dealer comment on how the finishes hold up very well, but the cerakote finishes WILL scratch.

Hopefully someone with more experience on either or both can chime in, but figured I'd try to help while you wait.

Ya I agree I feel the reloader looks better. I'm wondering how that crazy blade works out for actual use though

Funny you should say that... I really liked how unique the Brous line looks, but I just couldn't see EDC-ing it and using it for actual use which is why I didn't end up getting one.

Ya I was a little hesitant but idk man something about what Jason does to his knives. And I can get either the mini or the reloader for 200. I just feel like that's almost getting a custom for the price of a production. I know Brous blades isn't custom but compared to my collection haha it's custom

Haha that's wat I'm saying. The reloader is black washed that's y I asked about the black ceracote or whatever it is

scratches add character... any coated blades will eventually show some wear, but at that price I wouldnt look back

I have both in Acid Wash and not Black Out, they do seem to hold up well. I prefer the Mini Division, it fits better in my hands, less bulky like the Reloader. The Mini Division flips faster than the Reloader. The Reloader requires more effort to flip and it doesn't come out as fast solidly. For EDC, I prefer the Mini Division. Hope that helps with your decision.

I have a mini division, great knife, flips real fast,i have nothing but good to say about it. deep pocket clip, well made I got mine for 225 well worth it. 200 is even better..

I love my mini division flipper, mine is satin finished; no experience with the reloader ( I like the looks of it as well.)

I only own a Bionic, and it has been a fabulous knife. I've contemplated the mini-division many times, I really like it. If I had any money at all I'd go for one.

We have both in stock; the mini division I would say may be more comfortable in the pocket and both deploy wicked fast. The reloader may be a better choice for hard use as it has great purchase on the top for grip/cutting and so forth. Check out the ridge across the spine and you'll see what I mean. Ergonomics are different but both great choices.

Let me know if I can help; happy to honor a "blade forums," deal too:

Good luck with your decision!

I can probably get a simple video over to ya if you want to see. I'd say the action is similar but with the ergonomics of the division seems to make it slightly faster and deployment can be done by just the detent and no wrist action needed..

The reloader also comes with a hardcase vs a tube for the mini-division.

I've had the reloaded for a while now and I still love it. Such a comfortable knife for its bulk. That being said it is a lot of knife in the pocket vs the mini division I would imagine. Can't beat the looks of the reloader. And 200 is a steal so I'd jump on that.
